Ever wondered about the historic buildings in Tucson? Well, now you can take a journey through a bit of downtown history at Maynards Market and the Train Depot. Maynards Market is the place to be when you're looking for a place to eat or just looking to have a good time. The market draws in a variety of people and events due to its local charm and connections to the historic Southern Pacific Railroad Depot. Event such as the Tucson Culinary Festival and World Margarita Championships are held here. Activity coordinators like Pat Connors choose Maynards for its prime location and up-beat ambiance. The former Tucson records building at The Depot was built in three stages, in 1907, 1910 and 1922. The latest stage was completed in 2004 and demonstrates the 1941 architectural style as we see it today. There is no enterance fee to visit The Depot's museum.
